Learning Support Assistant
Tempest Education are seeking hard working and dedicated Learning support assistants to work at one of our partner Primary schools in Peckham.
The role:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
- ASAP start
- £87 – £105 daily rate
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are looking for dedicated and empathetic SEN Learning Support Assistants to join our team and support students in achieving their full potential

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support, adapting learning materials to meet individual needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with personal care, where necessary.
- Help students develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
- Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and other learning strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEN.
- A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
- Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support (desirable).
