Tempest Education is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly mainstream primary school in Waltham Forest. The position will require 1 to 1 and group support across Reception and Year 1.

The role is at a friendly, one form-entry Catholic Primary School in Chingford, Waltham Forest. The characteristics of the school are love, trust and peaceful collaboration. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you would be instrumental in nurturing the children to reach their full potential.

SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION

        Experience or interest in Special Educational Needs – ASD / MLD / SEMH/ SLD

        Strong command of English

        3 year’s prior experience supporting pupils with SEN

        Must be able to communicate with the pupil (s) using the following PECs, Makaton, RWI Phonics.
