I am working with a SEMH school based in Bedford Bedfordshire who are in the process of recruiting Learning/Behaviour Mentors.
The school are looking for Learning/ Behaviour Mentors to join their small specialist team, teaching and supporting learners with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties who struggle with all areas of learning and social integration.
The students attending this school will have a SEN diagnosis, EHCP (Education Health Care Plan) surrounding their social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
You will be working with students within the classroom as well as on a 1 to 1 basis, you will help children who are struggling with their learning and development.
For this role must be confident, work well in a team and support other staff. The school are looking for 2 mentors and ideally would like them to have either a psychology degree or to have experience with speech and language therapy.
The successful candidate will be able to start ASAP.
