Tempest Resourcing are working with an alternative provision based in Dorking! The school and pupils has been impacted by the ongoing school closures and have identified the need to bring in an a number of nurture teachers to assist pupils with the transition from primary to secondary in addition to any extra intervention work required.

  • Role to start immediately
  • Paid on a daily rate between £140 and £180 based on experience
  • This is a newly formed alternative provision located close by to Dorking town centre. The school caters for pupils with SEMH and other complex behavioural needs. Like many schools during this pandemic the Senior Leadership Team have highlighted certain areas that the pupils are starting to fall behind in and they have highlighted the need for a Nurture / Intervention teacher who will assist pupils with extra support and the transition from primary to secondary learning. This role will be staring immediately and will be temp to perm.

    To join this school as a successful Nurture / Intervention teacher, you will need to have

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Solid knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Have previous experience of working with children with additional needs
  • The desire to support several pupils in-class on a one to one and small group basis
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Two professional references
