This primary school are looking for an enthusiastic LSA to deliver outstanding support to an autistic child with an EHCP who will joining the Year 1 class.
You will be required to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make outstanding academic progress.
The ideal LSA will have
Experience of establishing successful learning relationships with a variety of pupils at the relevant age
Experience of the role of a TA, in particular classroom organisation and management
Experience of working with pupils with SEND
Experience of supporting the planning and delivery of the curriculum and supporting differentiation for the individual needs of students
Demonstrate high levels of ambition and optimism regarding what the academy and its students can achieve
Demonstrate evidence of raising attainment and developing excellence
Be a committed team player
Experience with autistic children is highly desirable. However, the school will support individuals interested in developing their skills in this area of SEN.
