The Governing Body, children and staff of a thriving primary school are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic HLTA & Sports Lead to lead PE across the year groups.

We are looking for someone special who- HLTA & Sports Lead
Has a relevant qualification, equivalent to L4 or Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Is passionate about sport for all pupils
Is skilled in all aspects of PE in the primary school curriculum
Has experience in teaching PE to both boys and girls
Has proven, effective positive behaviour management skills
Is an excellent practitioner with high expectations and aspirations for the children
Has the ability to work as part of a team and be flexible to the needs and priorities of the school.
Is resourceful, pro-active and well-organised
Is committed to extra – curricular provision
Can develop and maintain efficient record keeping systems
Demonstrates a commitment to Equal Opportunities
Is efficient in record keeping, written and oral communication
Is willing to participate in further training and development opportunities
The main responsibilities of this role are- HLTA & Sports Lead
Some class cover of straightforward activities
Teaching PE across the year groups
To do a sports after school club each day
