The successful graduate must
- Hold a degree (22 or above)
- Be enthusiastic, confident and approachable

- Be able to inspire and motivate children in the classroom
- Have high expectations and be committed to seeing all children reach their full potential
- Be able to deliver well-structured lessons for small groups/1 to 1 sessions

Tempest Education have partnered with an excellent school based in the Borough of Croydon (East Croydon) who are seeking primary teaching assistants to join their team. In this role, you will choose to either work in KS1 or KS2 and will focus on managing children during class-based activities. You will aim to provide support to the children in an entertaining, engaging and creative manner. Additionally, you will be required to work with small groups both inside and outside the classroom and lead 1 to 1 sessions. Furthermore, you will be required to assist the class teacher in preparing and setting up class activities. The school is looking for someone who is confident and creative who holds all the qualities children need in a role model. They want to meet a graduate who is seeking to become a teacher assistant where they can build experience before potentially committing to a teacher training programme.
