Year 5 Teacher – Welcoming School in Havering
We’re looking for a Year 5 teacher starting ASAP who could commit to the rest of the year, possibly with a temp to perm arrangement. Open to a strong ECT however experience would be preferred.
Based in the heart of Havering the school shares a close bond with the local community and work exceptionally hard to ensure the children are able to flourish in a safe and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the learning needs of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, incorporating innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance understanding and participation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that focuses on respect, curiosity, and a passion for learning, while managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Ensure resources, equipment, and materials will be available in such a way that they are properly cared for, easily accessible and will encourage the children to become more responsible for their own learning.
