    Tempest Resourcing are currently working with an Outstanding SEMH PRU school. The school is based in East London with great transport links close by and parking onsite too. This pupil referral unit caters for children aged between 7 to 19 years old with social, emotional, mental, health difficulties. All the children are on the EHCP. The children that attend this school have various reasons why they attend such as being excluded from their mainstream school, or they cannot cope in a mainstream school and some are going through mental, health difficulties.

    The school is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to start for September 2022 on a full-time basis Monday – Friday. The hours will be from 0830-1530pm but sometimes you may be expected to finish at 1600pm due to training and development.

    The right candidate will be required to work on a 1 to 1 basis and small groups with Primary aged pupils. The children will be very challenging and everyday will not be the same, therefore we are expecting to have someone with good behaviour management and previous experience within SEMH and special needs.

    To be eligible the Behaviour Mentor must have

  •        SEN experience within SEMH, challenging behaviour or autism

  •        Calm and nurturing approach

  •        Good behaviour management

  •        Reliable and hard working
